             Course Description

The course averages a 7.4 % grade. The lower portion is a 5.6% grade of mostly rolling hills. Once you pass the water treatment plan the course averages a 9.4% grade with some steep sections. The distance is 5.70 miles and total elevation gain is 1490 feet at Rotary Park.

The race starts at the mouth of the canyon and finish in Rotary Park where we will have food, beverages, live music, socializing with friends, having a good time and awards presented to the top three finishers in all age divisions.  Ages divisions are 14 under to 60+ plus, and broken up by a ten year span.

Chef Rene will be cooking strawberry pancakes at the finish in Rotary Park.  This year he may also be cooking eggs for us.

Junior Divisions: Female and Male 14 and under

Parents may ride with the juniors if they are not entering the race.  Cars are not allowed in the canyon other than the official event vehicle.​​

​Thank you for signing up for the City Creek Bike Sprint this Saturday, start time 10:00 AM.
Registration is still open  Click on Registration above.  No day of registration.

Be at the start by 9:15 AM to pick up your bib number and T-shirt (if you ordered one)
The start is at the gate of City Creek Canyon.  Park at the State Capitol and pedal to the start.

Remember to ride SLOW coming down the canyon.  Look after walkers, runners and other cyclists. Thank you.

WHEN YOU REGISTER AN EMAIL WILL BE SENT WITH PACK PICKUP INFORMATION

 Race starts at 10:00 AM at the mouth of City Creek Canyon.  The finish is
at the top of the canyon at Rotary Park. There we have awards, food, massages,
live music and our social hour before going down the canyon.

Bike Utah is the statewide, nonprofit bicycle advocacy and education organization. They work to improve all types of bicycling across the state and to get more people riding. Healthy snacks, massages, social hour and kick-back time will be at the top of Hidden Peak.

This is the perfect climb with 3000 vertical feet of riding. The location could not be more beautiful, the price is right, the ride down the tram is breath taking and Oktoberfest is in full swing. Now it's time to sign up for the Widow Maker Mt. Bike Hill Clinb because you can. :)

​​After the race we gather at the top of Hidden Peak for our social hour with a beautiful view of the Rockies and the scenic view of the valley. There we will have snacks of all kinds, juice and coffee during Sports-Am's awards presentation to all division winners,  Afterwards, a gental ride down the Tram to the Snowbird Plaza and enjoy Oktoberfet and time to kick back
